Diagnosis

Funicular segment 0.3X as long as clava; female scape very strongly flattened and wide; head very transverse, 2.2X as wide as high; frons with a blunt transverse edge in front of anterior ocellus; mid lobe of mesoscutum with a strong median groove (as in petiolata); submarginal vein with two setae; basal 2/3 of wing membrane bare, setae in apical 1/3 sparsely situated; propodeum with a strong and complete median groove (as in petiolata); dorsellum not visible; petiole 0.5X as long as wide, with an anterodorsal shield (as in petiolata), dorsal surface with strong irregular sculpture; female with first gastral tergite medially extended backwards and rounded (as in petiolata).
